Russ Lang started his career with Globe Metallurgical in 1990 as Staff Electrical Engineer for its Beverly, Ohio facility. His career was further expanded to include roles as Engineering and Maintenance Manager, Corporate Engineering Manager, and later as Corporate Energy Manager. His primary roles involved engineering, maintenance, energy, capital expenditures, and process technical support for all its U.S. plants, as well as engineering due diligence of various company expansion plans.

Following a merger in 2015 in forming what is now Ferroglobe PLC, Russ oversees several hundred megawatts of utility contracts for Ferroglobe’s—Americas operations consisting of five U.S. plants as well as plants in Canada and Argentina with facilities operating in both regulated and deregulated markets. He also oversees all of the company’s demand response and energy efficiency initiatives. Russ is also active is several state-based industrial energy groups, including being the current Chairman of the West Virginia Energy Users Group.

Russ is a graduate of Ohio University with a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
